We thought of the name from being a South Park Freaks ourselves. We then decided to create a website called SpFreak so other South Park Freaks could enjoy South Park related material! We always wanted to create a South Park website. We started many South Park websites in 2008, but never really finished it because it was a huge project. We started out with freewebs. After finding out that Freewebs only offered 500mb of bandwidth, we decided that we needed a new and better host. In July 2009, We decided to buy hosting and a domain. Everyday, we would be getting new users to our website. We knew that we would need a bigger, and better hosting server.
On January 2, 2011 we finally released our new layout. With the growing cost of servers and hosting, we needed some sort of income to help keep the website up and running. That's when we decided that the best way to keep this website free is to put advertisements on it. This new layout won't change for a long time. We have been working many months to make it perfect. As you can see, we have made big changes compared to the old layout. With the new layout, it makes it easier for users to navigate through the website. The coding takes advantage of the space given in internet browsers such as Google Chrome. Coded in HTML and CSS, it gives users best results.
As for now, we will go day by day and hope to be one of the best South Park fansite someday. We would like to thank all of our fans! Without your support, SP Freak would not be what it is today. We hope to see you guys in the near future. God Bless!
